Dr. Shuangbao “Paul” Wang is a professor and chair of computer science at Morgan State University. He is a LINK fellow, a board member of CyberVets and has held positions as the TSYS endowed chair in cybersecurity by a $5 million endorsement, director of center for security studies with more than 3,000 cyber students, and chief information and technology officer of the National Biomedical Research Foundation. Paul was directly involved in drafting of the National Initiatives of Cybersecurity Education (NICE) framework. He has recently published two books and awarded four patents, three of them have been licensed to the industry. Paul’s research areas are quantum crypto, quantum networking, secure architecture, and trustworthy AI.

Dr. Wang earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from George Mason University. He was advised by Dr. Robert Ledley, the inventor of the body CT scanner, at Georgetown University. Paul completed postdoc studies in Quantum Computing at MIT and in AI and Data Science at University of Cambridge.
